The Mighty Hood II is a two-player tabletop wargame depicting two famous WW2 battles involving HMS Hood, pride of the Royal Navy. The first, Mers-el-Kebir (1940) simulates the British neutralizing the French fleet off the coast of North Africa after the fall of France. The second, Denmark Strait (1941) simluates the fateful encounter with the Bismarck in the North Atlantic. Ships are faithfully rated in a variety of offensive and defensive categories, and play uses the established Battleship Captain game system. You can use the provided warship counters to play, or utilize your own miniatures during play.
